Bring a sketch, a photo you saved, or just an idea. These are the pieces people ask us for most.

Engagement rings

Designed around the stone you choose, or around one you already have. Solitaires, halos, three-stone rings, and settings nobody else is wearing.

Wedding and anniversary bands

Bands shaped to sit flush against an engagement ring, and anniversary bands made to match a ring you have worn for years.

Pendants and necklaces

A pendant built around a birthstone, a set of initials, or a stone from a ring you no longer wear.

Platinum pieces

Ray has specialized in platinum for 41 years. It is harder to work than gold, and it is the metal many shops will not make things in.

Pieces from family stones

Something made for a birthday, a graduation, or a fiftieth anniversary, that exists nowhere else.

You approve the design before we make anything

Custom work goes wrong when the first time you see the piece is when it is finished. So we sketch it out with you first, and talk it through until it is right.

Nothing is made until you say yes, and when it is, it is made here, at the bench in the back of the shop, by the person you sat down with.

We sit down

Bring photos, sketches, or the stone. We talk through metal, stones, and budget.

We sketch it

We draw the piece out with you, so you can see it before anything is made.

You approve it

Nothing gets made until you say yes.

We make it here

Cast, set, and finished on site. Your stones stay in our shop the whole time.

You pick it up

A final fitting, and a sizing adjustment if it needs one.

What custom costs

A price before anything is made

The price of a custom piece comes down to three things: the metal, the stones, and how much work the design takes. A plain band and a platinum halo ring are very different jobs.

Tell us your budget at the first sit-down and we design to it. You get a price with the design, before anything is made. Financing is available through Acima.
